Julie: My sisters and I all live in a different city from our parents, so we can't just go home and cook with Mom to learn her recipes... Which has precipitated many emails home to ask for recipes. Ever since I started using Pinterest, I've used it as a way to store all the recipes I use, and I thought "I wish there were some way that I could pin Mom's recipes!" This blog is that way. If I cook and blog Mom's recipes, I can pin them to Pinterest and have handy access to them. So that said, this blog is highly selfish, but you are welcome to follow along and even cook my recipes if you like!
